Russian occupiers in Crimea carry out new raids in search of guerrillas

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, the enemy continues to intensify measures to identify members of the Ukrainian underground, the National Resistance Center reports.

The occupiers searched the homes of those they suspected of “disloyalty.” In many cases, the searches were conducted in the absence of the homeowners.

Random identity checks on the streets have become more frequent, too.

Discontent among the population in Crimea is growing due to an active mobilization campaign by occupying administrations. As a result, the number of people leaving for Russian territory has increased significantly. Real estate is being actively sold on the peninsula, and hotel reservations are being canceled.

Skepticism towards Russia’s so-called “special military operation” in Ukraine is also growing. The occupiers responded to this by intensifying the “fight against extremism.”

Previously, the Russians installed additional surveillance cameras in Crimea to identify guerrillas. This was a reaction to the successful actions of local partisans, in particular from the Atesh movement.
