Russian authorities in the occupied territories of Ukraine have introduced a “law” that will allow police to enter the homes of Ukrainians without cause. This new rule will take effect on March 5, according to the National Resistance Center (NRC).
Under the so-called state control over migrants, police will have the right to access the homes and other properties where so-called foreigners live, based on the language used in the new law..
“In reality, these are ‘migrants’ who have not exchanged their Ukrainian passports for Russian ones,” the NRC said.
Starting from Jan. 1 Russians will strip basic rights from Ukrainians who refuse to change their citizenship. For example, these individuals will no longer be able to receive free essential medication.
Primarily, this will affect people with cardiovascular diseases, asthma, and diabetes.
“Without a Russian passport, they will have to buy medicines. Still, it is almost impossible to buy essential medicines in the occupied territories,” the NRC said.
