On the night of Jan. 3 to 4, partisans once again halted the movement of civilian trains and military echelons on the section of the Trans-Siberian Railway in the Krasnoyarsk region, Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence reported on Wednesday.
In the year that has just begun, this is at least the sixth case of destroying railway signal boxes in various regions of Russia, leading to disruptions in military echelons traffic.
Last year, about 40 such cases were registered, as well as the destruction of railway transformers and locomotives. A significant increase in the activities of rail guerillas in Russia is observed after the announcement of partial mobilization by Putin’s regime.
