Occupiers continue to brutally oppress Ukrainians in the occupied territories

Enemy occupiers in Mariupol forbid students to use the Ukrainian language in schools, even during breaks, as reported by Advisor to Mariupol’s Mayor Petro Andryushchenko .

Russian invaders have set up at least 20 filtration camps and prisons in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, according to the OSCE Permanent Representative of Ukraine Yevhen Tsymbalyuk at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna.

Mr Tsymbalyuk pointed out that among the prisons is the notorious torture chamber “Isolation” on the territory of the illegitimate Donetsk People’s Republic. Last November, the Security Services of Ukraine detained Isolation’s warden in Kyiv. Evidence of his crimes is given in the report “Isolation: Voices from the Basement” that documents atrocities recorded by Polish journalist Monika Andruszewska in co-authorship with Ukrainian lawyer Vitaliy Hekalo.
