Ukrainian aircraft attacked Sevastopol, Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk said. Explosions rang out at the ship repair plant, and damage to two Russian ships was also recorded.
The Ministry of Defense of Russia stated that the Ordzhonikidze ship repair plant in the city of Sevastopol was attacked with ten cruise missiles and surface drones. The Russians confirmed the damage to two ships and the attack on “a squadron of Black Sea Fleet ships crossing the sea.” Ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet are built and repaired at this enterprise.
In an interview with Babel, Ukraine’s intelligence representative Andrii Yusov reported that two vessels were damaged in Sevastopol – the Minsk large amphibious assault ship and the Rostov-on-Don diesel-electric submarine.
The commander of the Air Force thanked the Ukrainian pilots for “excellent combat work” and also hinted that Storm Shadow missiles carried out the attack. “… The occupiers are being “stormed” and they are still recovering from the night cotton in Sevastopol. … To be continued,” Oleshchuk announced.
