How to register an event on the UWC map for the war’s 3rd year anniversary

Events that commemorate the anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine can be registered on this special page. It’s the main online platform for the “Stand With Ukraine! Unite for Ukrainian Victory!” campaign by the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC).

Steps to register an event:

1. Click “Register Event” in the top right corner of the page.
2. Complete the registration form with the following details: the contact person’s email (from one of the event organizers), the country and city of the event (in both English and Ukrainian), event type, organizer, date, time, contact person, and a Google Maps link to the event location.
3. In the “Comments” section, include any additional important information about your event.
4. Grant permission for data processing that is required to ensure proper registration and processing of your information.
5. Click “Register Event.”

Once registered and verified (which may take a bit), all events will appear on the online event map. Anyone can participate in the campaign and find one in their area. More information about the campaign is available on the dedicated page.

Event registration is open not only for rallies but for any activities taking place ahead of the third anniversary of Russia’s full-blown invasion.

Registering events on the online map is a crucial step, not just to visually gather all events in one place, but also to showcase the unity of Ukrainians worldwide. It will allow the global Ukrainian community to demonstrate our solidarity in the fight for Ukraine, no matter where we are. 

The online map will serve as a powerful symbol of this unity for the whole world to see.

A key event in the campaign will be the Global Alarm rally during which air raid warnings will blare in Ukrainian communities on Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. local time as a reminder to the world about the ongoing war and a call to action.

The large-scale “Stand with Ukraine” advocacy campaign that marks the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion was launched by UWC on Jan. 11. 

It aims to remind the world of the ongoing unjustified war and highlight the devastating impact of Russia’s invasion on Ukraine and the global community. 

It also calls on democratic governments to harness support for Ukraine, increase pressure on Russia to end the war, and restore Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
