The leaders promised that the EU would not demand territorial concessions from Ukraine to end the war. Peace must be established on Ukraine’s terms, including the return of Crimea. This position was supported by the Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi and French President Emmanuel Macron at a press conference on Thursday. President Macron assured that assistance from the EU, including military, will increase. In particular, France will supply Ukraine with 6 additional Caesar self-propelled artillery units.

Ukraine handed over a complete sanctions package to the European leaders prepared by the McFaul-Yermak working group. The Head of the Ukrainian president’s office noted that the world should increase pressure on the aggressor and work on the seventh package of sanctions with a gas embargo.
