Ivan Kuzminskyi, with the call sign “Docent”, was a Ukrainain defender of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The warrior died in action in May in the Luhansk Oblast; he was 39.
Ivan defended Ukraine from the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion in the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces.
“Courageously and dignifiedly performed combat tasks. I believed in victory over the enemy and really wanted to return home as soon as possible,” the Memorial of Heroes, the platform of stories about fallen defenders of Ukraine, states.
Ivan was buried in his native Berdychiv. He is survived by his mother, wife, 10-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son.
