The Group of Seven has drafted a plan to allocate USD 18.4 billion in budget support for Ukraine. This amount is estimated to cover budget expenditures for May, June and July based on calculations of the government of Ukraine, the IMF and World Bank.
lthough USD 5 million per month was the initial allocation, the final package may be higher due to contributions of multilateral development banks.
UWC thanks the #G7 leaders for their agreement to provide #Ukraine with EUR 17.6 billion in budgetary funds to keep the country running through July. We are sure that your sustained faith in Ukraine’s bright future will be greatly rewarded. pic.twitter.com/L2iEs2kSRZ
