Spain has transferred to Ukraine the first Hawk air defense systems, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry reported Friday on Telegram.
The news came after the Ukrainian defense minister, Oleksiy Reznikov, had received in Odesa his Spanish counterpart Margarita Robles.
“We honored the memory of the heroes fallen in battles for Ukraine and visited our warriors in a hospital. Spain supports Ukraine: the humanitarian and security aid will go on,” the Ukrainian minister informed.
More Ukrainian fighters will be trained in Spain. Spain has already provided our Hawks,” he added.
