Eleventh Congress of Ukrainian Organizations to be held in Brazil

The XI Congress of Ukrainian Organizations will take place in Curitiba, Brazil, on March 22-23, marking the 40th anniversary of the Ukrainian-Brazilian Central Representation (UBCR), reported the organization’s head, Vitório Sorotiuk.

It will focus on defining the strategic direction of the UBCR and fostering unity and knowledge-sharing among Ukrainian leaders in culture and social affairs, Sorotiuk said.

The agenda focuses on the preservation and development of Ukrainian culture in Brazil, as well as peace and the reconstruction of Ukraine.

The event will be held the state of Paraná and a General Assembly of the 11 organizations that comprise the UBCR will also take place, where new leadership will be elected for the 2025-2028 term.

Ukrainian World Congress President Paul Grod and UWC Vice President for South America will also join the event online.
