The Ukrainian World Congress Economic Prosperity and Investment Committee (EPIC), together with IHK Region Stuttgart and AHK Ukraine, co-organized another economic round table entitled “Ukraine Forum” on 4 April, 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany, as part of its series of economic round tables throughout Europe. The event brought together German business leaders with representatives from government and the private sector of Ukraine for a discussion on the opportunities of investing and doing business in Ukraine.
The round table featured a number of distinguished speakers, including Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Andrij Melnyk, Chairman of the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry & Commerce Alexander Markus, Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer Horizon Capital Lenna Koszarny, and Chair of EPIC Olha Syvak, UkraineInvest.
Considerable interest was expressed by the audience in a number of sectors and industries, most notably Ukraine’s IT and burgeoning creative industry sectors, and a lively discussion ensued during the round table and well after the official program concluded.
Lenna Koszarny delivered a presentation entitled, “Ukraine: an investor’s perspective”, where she highlighted Ukraine’s remarkable economic transformation and offered a view on Ukraine’s potential and investment attractiveness from a leading private equity firm in Ukraine.
