The Ukrainian World Congress extends greetings to all Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine around the world during this joyous Easter season.
We give thanks for our many blessings, remember loved ones who have left us, and ask God to continue to protect and guide us.
We remember and honour our brothers and sisters in Ukraine, forced to take up arms to defend their homeland. We pray for the souls of the thousands who have fallen defending their families and their country over the past five years, and ask God to keep the defenders of Ukraine safe and grant them strength to continue their brave struggle. And we pray that peace soon returns to Ukraine.
As Ukraine goes through a tumultuous election period both this spring and in the fall, we ask all of you to remain committed to its future. Ukraine is moving in the right direction and it is up to all of us to continue to help build a strong and prosperous country that future generations of Ukrainians will be proud to call their homeland. Let us remember that we are all Ukrainians – no matter where we live!
