April 30, 12 – 2 pm GST – Hromada Ukraine UAE – Pysanky Workshop in the UAE. We invite you to paint traditional Easter eggs together this year. The master class will be interesting for those who are trying for the first time or have minimal experience and for more experienced students. Each level will have its own tasks. Join ethnomusicologist and singer Marichka Marczyk and learn interesting facts about spring rituals songs – vesnianky and haivky. Listen to ancient archival audio recordings made in remote Ukrainian villages. Immerse yourself in the beauty of unique melodies from different ethnic regions of Ukraine. Sing along with Marichka in this uplifting workshop of Ukrainian spring ritual music.
