Congress of Ukrainians in Estonia recommends free online course on Ukraine

The Congress of Ukrainians of Estonia (CUE) invites participants to take a free online course titled, “Ukraine: The European Frontier.”

This English-language program on Ukrainian history is organized by the Ukrainian Centre at the prestigious University of Tartu.

Now in its second edition, the course previously enrolled 120 pupils from 30 countries, the CUE said.

This time, the curriculum explores Ukraine’s history, culture, identity, and politics, along with its European integration efforts, digital transformation that emphasizes e-governance, and future prospects.

The course is designed for anyone interested in Ukraine, particularly global educated citizens who can engage with social science concepts and patterns. Students, teachers, professors, researchers, civic activists, government officials, and other practitioners are all welcome,” the educators said.

Each online lecture is delivered by a leading expert in the field. The lecturers include prominent scholars and practitioners from Ukraine, Estonia, Australia, Canada, and the U.S.

The course is free to access on the University of Tartu’s educational platform. Participants who successfully complete it will receive a certificate.

Registration is open until March 9.
