Ukraine’s Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhny emphasized the paramount importance of defending Bakhmut for the whole front of the Ukrainian-Russian war.
“I value the toughness, valor and invincibility of our warriors in Bakhmut. The defense operation in this direction has paramount strategic significance in order to constrain the enemy. It is key to the resilience of defense along the entire frontline. I’m grateful to each defender, who gives a fitting rebuff to the occupants and accelerates the Victory of Ukraine,” Zaluzhny wrote on Facebook.
