Chicago community calls on Biden to lift all restrictions on Ukraine’s use of Western weapons

The Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA), Illinois Division, calls on the Ukrainian community in the USA to appeal to the White House to lift any restrictions on Ukraine’s use of ATACMS missiles, as reported by the UCCA, Illinois Division, on Facebook.

“Please call the White House and ask the administration to remove any restrictions on use of ATACMS, Ukraine needs to be able to use ATACMS to hit strategic targets throughout the russian federation,” the publication reads.

Earlier, the US took the first step and granted Ukraine permission to strike Russia with American weapons up to 100 km from the border. However, the Ukrainian community urges expanding the capabilities for missile use.

Earlier, Marta Farion, UWC Vice President for North America and Vice President of the UCCA stated that the restrictions on strikes on Russian territory, set by the Pentagon for Ukraine since the beginning of the supply of American weapons, are completely unjustified and have knowingly placed the Ukrainian side at a disadvantage.

The White House should give Ukraine full freedom of action in using American weapons, believes Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives.
