British Channel 4 features armored vehicles from UWC

Channel 4 News, the leading news program on the British television channel Channel 4, earlier this week, featured a story about 25 armored and tracked vehicles that the Ukrainian World Congress purchased and delivered to the Territorial Defence Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as part of the UniteWithUkraine initiative.

“As Ukraine’s forces have scrambled to arm themselves in the face of Russia’s onslaught, with towns like Bakhmut and Avdiivka now under daily attack in the war, the demand for weapons has never been higher,” the story reads. “The Ukrainian World Congress is a community organization that has raised millions of pounds since the beginning of the war to procure equipment for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.  

“The War Is Not Over. Continue Supporting Ukrainian Defenders Every Day,” the Unite With Ukraine team commented on the story on social media.   

$2,300,000 / / 85,000,000 UAH – this is the amount of aid provided by the Ukrainian World Congress within the framework of the Unite With Ukraine initiative to the Ukrainian Armed Forces Territorial Defense Forces over the past six months, the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Territorial Defense Forces reported yesterday on its official Facebook page and provided a detailed report. 

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian World Congress, through its #UniteWithUkraine initiative, has provided over $40 million in assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other security forces. Donations were collected in over 70 countries.
