Mr. Potoczny holds a master’s degree in Engineering and an MBA, both from University of Toronto. Mr. Potoczny is the President of Zhoda 2001 and the Director of Zhoda Investments whose shares are traded in Sweden. Zhoda invests in select unlisted European ventures and has now projects related to oil and gas in Ukraine and wineries in Croatia. In Ukraine, Zhoda currently has projects with Ukrnafta and Chornomornaftogas. He has written several reports and publications relating to oil sands and bitumen extraction processes. In 2019, he was re-elected as President of the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce. CUCC is a non-profit association involved in establishing and fostering Canada-Ukraine bilateral business relations. The Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce is recognized by all levels of government in Canada and Ukraine, by the business community in both countries, and by the public in general as the facilitator agency of choice for establishing, maintaining, and monitoring bilateral business relations, trade, and investment opportunities between Canada and Ukraine. CUCC, jointly with Conference Board of Canada, is managing a $13.6 million CUTIS (Canada Ukraine Trade and Investment Support) project, sponsored by the Canadian government. In 2009, Zenon Potoczny was awarded the Order of Merit, Class III, by the President of Ukraine. Presently, Potoczny also serves as VP of Operations for the Ukrainian World Congress and as a Board member for the Kyiv-Mohyla Foundation of Canada. PDF
