Leaders of the European Congress of Ukrainians (ECU), who served the organization from 1995 to 2019, will convene in an online forum to delve into the history, significant initiatives, and pivotal role of the ECU and the Ukrainian diaspora across Europe. This event, marking the 75th anniversary of the Congress, aims to highlight the enduring impact and contributions of the ECU in nurturing and advocating for the Ukrainian community throughout the continent.

The event is scheduled for June 27 at 20:00 Central European Time (21:00 Kyiv time). Participants in the discussion will include Jerzy Rejt, ECU Chairman (1995-1996); Levko Dovgovich, ECU Chairman (1997-2005); Jaroszlava Hartyányi, ECU Chairman (2005-2019), as well as the Chair of WFUWO, Second Vice President of the Ukrainian World Congress, and Zenon Kowal, the son of Omelian Kowal (Chairman of the ECU (1992-1995), a UWC Executive Committee member, a Political Advisor to the European Congress of Ukrainians and Association of Ukrainians in Belgium, and a Special Advisor to the Embassy of Ukraine in Belgium (1992-1995).
