This year, the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) dedicated its efforts to strengthening the global Ukrainian diaspora and advancing Ukraine’s victory against Russian aggression.
The UWC coordinated 1,024 different rallies across continents to inspire international support for Ukraine in Februrary.
In April, we worked with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to define key priorities for assisting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the Bucharest Summit, the UWC played a pivotal role in crafting a strategic Roadmap for future initiatives.
Throughout the year, the UWC played a key role in drafting effective legislation to enable multiple citizenship, further empowering Ukrainians worldwide.
Since 2022, the UWC Unite with Ukraine initiative has donated 194 unmanned aerial vehicles and 1,865 first-person view drones to the front lines worth more than $60 million.
The UWC’s achievements encompass dozens of events and thousands of participants, all united by a shared goal: a strong global Ukrainian community.
This year brought losses.
We mourn the loss of our beloved friend, UWC First Vice President Stefan Romaniw, whose contributions to our community will be felt for generations. In his memory, we are launching a project dedicated to supporting Ukrainian youth, ensuring they have the opportunities and resources to thrive.
As we reflect on the past year, the third year of the full-scale war and the eleventh since the onset of the Russian invasion in 2014, we are reminded of the profound strength of unity. With your support, we are confident that 2025 will be a year of victory!
