The Kyiv Initiative is a new cooperative program between the countries of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Ukraine on foreign policy and security issues.
Head of the Ukrainian President’s Administration Andriy Yermak announced that the group’s first document on international security guarantees for Ukraine may appear as early as August 29-30.
“By the end of this month, I think by the 29th or 30th, we can count on the publication of the first document, recommendations of our group with Mr. Rasmussen [the Group on International Security Guarantees for Ukraine, led by Andrii Yermak and Anders Fogh Rasmussen — ed.] We are currently working on this document,” said Mr Yermak.
