February 22, 2020, the Union of Ukrainians Verkhovyna in the city of Gradiska celebrated the 130th anniversary of Ukrainian settlement in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Ukrainian World Congress congratulates the Ukrainian community and pays tribute to all who, over the course of 130 years, united Ukrainians in Bosnia and Herzegovina around our national values including UWC member organization Coordinating Council for Ukrainian Associations and Unions.
Ukrainian communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina are unique in their successful preservation of the Ukrainian identity, language and culture, restoration of national historical memory, and development of religious and community life throughout different historical periods.
